Across from Columbia’s gates stands Skipper’s NYC, a gift shop near 2876 Broadway. Inside the straight-lined storefront you’ll find the usual small souvenirs, but with a local twist — think local prints and hard-to-find cards tucked beside the classics. They also handle onsite services, which saves a trip for last-minute hostess gifts or someone’s forgotten birthday trinket.

It’s two blocks north of 110th on the west side of Broadway, just past the shopping strips and before the apartment lobbies kick in. If you call ahead, they know your order by the time you walk in; wander in without notice and you’ll still leave with that postcard signed. 2876 Broadway anchors the block where foot traffic slows between classes and errands.
