Knitted by Citlalli
About
Citlalli’s handcrafted creations fall under one of the city’s more vibrant niches—clothes and fabric manufacturing. Knitted by Citlalli operates out of a Seventh Avenue walk-up where stitches become statement pieces. By day, the space hums with knitting machines and spools of yarn; by necessity, it also doubles as a small atelier for custom work.
The studio sits at 236 W 74th St #3F, a stretch of Upper West Side real estate known more for pre-war lobbies than factory fronts. Visitors arrive via the 1, 2, or 3 trains to 72nd Street and walk west under the canopy of century-old awnings. Nearby cafés spill onto sidewalks, and the neighborhood’s rhythm moves at a steady staccato of strollers and subway doors.
Call 212-555-0199 if timing aligns with open studio hours. Directions and the quickest route are always a click away at the map; the landing page loads fast even on subway Wi-Fi.
