KFP Hockey Association
About
Can hockey on the Upper West Side mean more than just winter league play? KFP Hockey Association turns that question into a choice. Registration for leagues opens twice yearly—fall ball, winter snows, summer sticks, and adult drop-ins keep local players on the ice almost year-round. Broomball, power skating, and Learn-to-Skate clinics are geared for all ages. Off-ice conditioning classes complement on-ice sessions, with occasional stick-and-puck nights for pickup play after hours. Volunteer referee training ties new officials to weekend games across the borough.
The association operates out of a rink-sharing facility tucked between 95th and 97th Streets in the West 96th block of Manhattan. At 275 W 96th St New York, NY 10025, the drop-off area faces Amsterdam Avenue and the nearest subway platform is a five-minute walk to the 1/2/3 at 96th Street. Players arrive straight from work or school and step onto the ice with gear already sized and staged in the association’s prep room—no rental hassle during league nights.
212-555-2874 takes signups, schedules, and questions. When directions are needed, the association’s map link cuts straight to the rink’s entrance: https://www.google.com/maps/place?ftid=0x89c2f7afcd57090d:0x3e47e6b389f73fe0
