Feldman Center sits on 243 West 27th Street in Manhattan, just a block from the avenue. The academic department organizes programs that span undergraduate advising, graduate support, and faculty resources. Offices and classrooms are concentrated on the upper floors of this mid-block building. Students and faculty alike use the elevators and stairwells to move between sessions, day and night.

Diploma checks, transfer credit evaluation, and degree planning consultations take place in designated rooms on the third and fourth floors. Language placement exams are administered in a controlled classroom setting on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Workshops on study abroad deadlines run quarterly, with sign-up sheets posted on the main bulletin board across from the elevators. Graduate students can arrange thesis review appointments through the internal portal twice a month.

Every visitor should enter on the southern side of the lobby to reach the department desk; staircases are marked to guide you up directly. Visitors drop IDs at security before ascending; recycled badges are handed back when you exit. The elevators land two floors above street level, placing you at the department’s quietest corridor. Quiet signs hang outside rooms so groups can study without interruption.
