About
Tech support isn’t just for dorm rooms.
The Baruch Computing and Technology Center handles everything from network logins to specialized software licenses for the entire campus. You’ll find it at 17 Lexington Ave New York, NY 10010, tucked between the library and the vertical campus. The department keeps the infrastructure running for students, faculty, and anyone else who needs access to shared drives, virtual labs, or the wireless network that blankets the blocks around Gramercy.
Walk-ins can usually get help with password resets, printing kiosks, or troubleshooting classroom projectors. They also manage the computer labs scattered across the buildings, so if a workstation freezes or a printer jams mid-assignment, this is where the ticket gets logged. The center isn’t open-ended—it follows the academic calendar, which means shorter hours during breaks and summer sessions.
Questions about software installations, VPN setups, or which lab has the Adobe suite can be answered at (646) 312-1010. For directions, the map is here: https://www.google.com/maps/place?ftid=0x89c259a0eb15b2f7:0x88e0c35bd463d96d.
